What you are arranging

You are asking us to perform a devotional seva on your behalf, at our own centre in India, with your name and gotra spoken in the sankalp. This is the ritvij and yajamana structure of Vedic ritual: the one who performs a rite and the one who receives its fruit have been separate roles since Vedic times.

We are not a temple, and we are not associated with any temple. We are not authorised by the Shani Shingnapur Devasthan, we make no claim to act for them, and nothing we do happens at Shingnapur. If you are able to travel to a temple yourself, you should.

What we promise

That the seva you paid for is performed. That your name and gotra are spoken in the sankalp. That you receive a private recording, and an itemised record of what was offered.

That the price shown is the price you pay, with nothing added afterwards.

What we do not promise

We make no claim about what will happen in your life. Shani Dev is Karmaphaladata: he gives the fruit of what has already been done, he holds an office under a higher authority, and no payment to us or to anyone changes what has been earned.

We will not tell you that a seva removes a dosha, ends a sade sati, cures an illness, wins a case, or brings money. Anyone who tells you that is selling something the tradition never offered.

Dates and rescheduling

Ceremony dates are real dates at a real centre. Occasionally a date has to move, for a festival, a closure, or a reason outside our control. If that happens we will tell you and offer the next available date or a refund.

The texts on this site

The Chalisa, the Aarti, the stotra and the kavach are given freely, with no account and no payment. Where a printed edition differs from the text we publish, we say so rather than pretend there is only one reading.

The English meanings are our own reading, offered as a help rather than as an authority. The Devanagari is what matters, and it is reproduced from the sources named on each page.

You may read, print and share the devotional texts freely. Please do not scrape the site wholesale or republish it as your own.
